THE BEST WARM UP EVER for ELEMENTARY PE!!!
* Can be used in so many different ways. GET CREATIVE!

=This is a 45:15 interval timer with 45 seconds of work(play) and 15 seconds of rest.

You can use this set of timers and commands in so many ways. Feel free to get creative with it and let me know in the comments what worked best for you!

The three main ways I use this timer are with the “Blue Sea Warm Up”, “Tabata Tag” and “Partner Fitness” games from the games playlist.

BLUE SEA WARM UP:
-Everyone must do the displayed movement around the jogging train (blue sea). when the music gets quiet, the players may slow down to walk instead.
-THERE IS NO RUNNING!! Stay safe and control your body around others.
-If a player stops moving during the music or is seen being unsafe they have to go to the center of the gym with the coach and do one of the bottom exercises in the deep blue sea. The coach will decide when to send the player back to the trail with the rest of the students.

PARTNER FITNESS:
-Meet a partner on a square.
-Partner may not leave square until timer done and partner gives high 5 or fist bump.
-Once high fived or fist bumped, immediately go to the jogging trail ( blue sea ) and wait for the music and commands.

*While this is an effective teaching aide for the vast majority of students, it does contain flashing images and contrasting colors. Around 1 in 100 people has epilepsy. Of these individuals, around 3% have “Photosensitive Epilepsy”. This means that roughly 3 in 10,000 students should not watch the video to avoid being triggered. Know your students! If one of them has Photosensitive Epilepsy, be careful with what you let them watch 👌
