English Learning | Ep. 5 | Fact About ‘ee’ Spelling Words | For A Better Tripura
October 24, 2019
In this video, I tried to explain how ‘ee’ spelling words change in past and past participle froms respectively.
The verbs that are spelled with ‘ee’ have been changed in only one ‘e’ spelling words and a ‘t’ at the end in the both past and past participle forms respectively.
Examples :
Sleep – Slept – Slept
Keep – Kept – Kept
Weep – Wept – Wept
Sweep – Swept – Swept
Creep – Crept – Crept
Feel – Felt – Felt
There are exceptions as well.
The verb ‘meet’ is not ‘mett’ in past and past participle forms. It is just ‘met’ in both forms.
The verb ‘need’ is not ‘nedt’ in past and past participle forms. It is just ‘needed’ in both verb forms.
